Companies will integrate social into the way they do business. Social leaders will reach out to traditional marketers and media buyers and customer service specialists and product development teams. And they’ll start speaking the language of the organization when defining social strategies and tactics and metrics.
How will brands tie social/digital to business results in 2017—in two sentences?
They’ll finally see the need to move beyond engagement, and to track real outcomes like awareness and sales and loyalty. Once that happens, brands will actively seek out tools and processes that prove social impact on real business results.
What is the #1 thing brands can do to take social out of the silo in 2017—in one sentence?
